Law enforcement and governmental entities requesting information from Tophatter in connection with investigations and inquiries may do so by submitting a subpoena, court order, search warrant, or temporary restraining order.
- Tophatter will respond to valid and binding legal process to the extent consistent with applicable laws. Documentation provided is self-authenticating, and should not require the testimony of a Custodian of Records. If a notarized certification is required, it should be submitted with the records request.
- Tophatter may provide basic user account information such as join date, devices used, usernames, IP addresses, mailing addresses, order dates and statuses, if properly requested by legal process. Accounts must be identified by name and mailing address, or email address.
- Tophatter may search for transaction details related to specific credit or debit card numbers if the requesting party provides the card type, last four digits of the card number, date, and amount of each transaction.
